A sanctuary for cats

Cats Anonymous

The "Cat House" is home to approximately 60 cats who are permitted to roam free within the shelter. Cats Anonymous is a no kill sanctuary, focusing on matching up healthy felines with loving families. The shelter is run by a very dedicated group of volunteers. The funding comes from adoptions, surrender fees, volunteer fund-raising events and private donations from individuals. They receive no government or township assistance.

The main focus is on adult cat adoptions. Kittens are usually available from about May through December. All cats and kittens are blood tested negative for Feline Leukemia (FELV), and Feline Immune Deficiency Virus (FIV). They are vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas and ear mites, and are spayed or neutered.

Funding from the Gordon and Patricia Gray Animal Welfare Foundation was used to support the feral cat fund.
