Sit With Me is a dog rescue that focuses on shelter dogs who are not candidates for the shelter’s traditional adoption process. They do not discriminate based on breed, age, lack of manners, medical background or current medical state which means many of the dogs they help have medical concerns, behaviour issues, special needs, and/or are a prohibited breed. Those animals that need help most, those who are in jeopardy of losing their lives due to a lack of resources in a shelter (or at risk of euthanasia in a local clinic), are the dogs that they seek out for rescue.

With the support from donors such as the Gordon and Patricia Gray Animal Welfare Foundation, Sit With Me has helped network over 1000 dogs with other reputable rescues and has taken in over 1200 dogs into their care.
