Training retired rescue dogs
The Humane Society of Greater Jupiter-Tequesta
Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch (The Humane Society of Greater Jupiter/Tequesta), is a not for profit, no-kill rescue organization headquartered in Jupiter Florida. They are the only shelter open to the public in northern Palm Beach County and have been rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing homeless animals in the community for more than 30 years.
Their organization expands beyond Jupiter's borders with a 27-acre ranch located in Palm City, site of the new beginning for each homeless animal that comes to their door.
In a new a program, Furry Friends have partnered with a group to train their rescue dogs so that they can be paired with military service members returning from active duty with physical, mental and emotional disabilities.
